Jennifer Robers Miller, M.S. LPC is a licensed professional counselor specializing in infant and toddler mental health, trauma-informed care, and foster/adoption/attachment issues in families. She additionally treats children who have anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, DMDD, insomnia, eating issues, school/daycare issues, cognitive impairments, developmental delays, adjustment disorders, family change and grief and loss issues. Jennifer obtained her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Loyola College in Maryland in 2001.

My intentions are simple. I work to create the type of therapeutic relationship that clients will need to do the exploring, processing and growing that psychotherapy allows. Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and adults in settings that include outpatient, inpatient, school, and community-based. She uses treatment approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused therapy, Structural family therapy, psychoeducation, mindfulness, play therapy, and crisis planning. She has a Bachelors degree in Family Studies and Human Relations and a Masters degree in Social Work. Melissa believes that it is a privilege to be a part of another person/families recovery and healing.

I have over 16 years of experience working with children, individuals, and families who have wide range of clinical needs. I believe that therapy goals and techniques are based on the individual's and/or family's needs, and I meet them where they are at in their process of growth. I have many years of experience working with children (and families) who have Pervasive Developmental Disorders (Autism, and Asperger's Syndrome). I also have experience working with children and adults who present a variety of behavioral and mental health challenges. I enjoy facilitating groups on social skills, anger management, and various parenting topics.

I work with autistic individuals and their families as well families who are concerned their child may have autism. Our Illinois location specializes in early diagnostic evaluations for children 14 months to 5 years. In Madison, WI we support diagnostic services for children 14 months to 16 years. Individual, group, and family mental health services in both locations span up to 26 years of age.

Kathleen Kaufman, MA-ATR has worked in the Art Therapy and Education field as a therapist, teacher, administrator, educational consultant and workshop presenter for over 26 years. Kathleen Kaufman is a member of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA), and is a registered art therapist through Art Therapy Board Certification (ATBC). Her work has focused on the Visual Arts and helping individuals with mental and physical disabilities, with a emphasis on working with individuals with autism. She utilizes art media as a tool to help individuals achieve personal awareness along with exploring new opportunities that can open doors to success.

Julia Peterson is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in treating children aged 4 years and older, adolescents, and adults. Julia has experience working with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, stress and anger management, and ADHD. Julia approaches therapy from a client centered perspective, while incorporating cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness techniques, play therapy, and motivational interviewing. The goal for each client is to assist them in living a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Hello! I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy but rather a collaborative process between myself and individuals or families that I work with. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy with other approaches to fit the individual needs of my clients. I view behaviors as communication. I love working with children and their families to understand those behaviors and learn better forms of communication while building healthy relationships and finding creative solutions that support the whole family. I also have experience working with individuals, young adults and the LGBTQIA+ community.
