I enjoy working with adults, teens, and adolescents who are seeking guidance to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and every day life challenges. I use a supportive, person-centered approach coupled with cognitive/behavioral techniques to address client concerns.

Being a person is hard. Big life events can make it harder and even daily care tasks make it harder. Sometimes, once we realize we need extra help, it’s hard to find the energy and courage to look for help, to ask for it. This is starting to sound like an endless cycle of things being hard and daily life feeling unmanageable – yikes! That’s where I come in! First thing you need to know: you are okay! You are doing so much better than you think! Fun side note: in addition to being an LPC Associate, I'm also a certified Level II Reiki practitioner.

The individual experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, anger, and\or relationship issues is the individual I enjoy working with. As a counselor, my goal is to not help you feel better, but helping you to feel better. Psychotherapy, by it's very nature, is a relationship-based treatment. It is two or more people interacting with the purpose of bringing about some kind of relief and healing for the client. So, the treatment itself is embedded in the relationship you have with your counselor. That's why it's important to work with someone you have a good rapport with, in a caring, safe space.
