As a mom of five adopted kids and a previous foster mom of 30 children over ten years, I too have juggled endless challenges while trying to thrive as a mom. My journey has been filled with moments of profound sorrow, loneliness, and immense joy. My mom journey fuels my passion for helping other women navigate the turbulent waters of motherhood, infertility, and parenting children with Autism and A.D.H.D.. Motherhood can often feel like a solitary journey, filled with sleepless nights and feelings of inadequacy. I work with moms who feel overwhelmed, lonely, and lost in the daily grind of parenting.

My therapeutic approach is Existential Phenomenological, heavily emphasizing Jungian psychology. I was introduced to Existential Phenomenology while attending the University of Dallas, where I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology. I obtained my master's in psychology at the University of West Georgia. Then, after several years, I returned to school to obtain a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Additional studies include play therapy, art therapy, SandPlay, family studies, psychophysiology, and neuropsychology. My eclectic tools range from expressive art therapies to cognitive behavioral techniques.

Hello! My name is Antoinette Martinez. I founded Nourish Play Therapy LLC in 2015 to give children, teens, and their families a safe place to move towards social and emotional health and wellness. I combine play therapy with art, mindfulness, EMDR Therapy, and SandPlay to help children understand their thoughts, feelings, impulses, and needs. I also help kiddos discover their strengths and grow in self-control and responsibility. I have experience in treating life changes, trauma, abuse, neglect, self-injurious behaviors, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, adhd, autism spectrum, developmental delays, school adjustment, divorce and separation, and other behavioral concerns.
