As a counselor, I can offer a listening ear and a non-judgmental attitude as we navigate whatever you are going through together. If you are a parent seeking help for your child, I offer Child-Centered Play therapy for children ages 4-12. Children engage in counseling by interacting with the therapist and toys in a special setting. I team with parents and have parent consults regularly.

I have a friendly nature and I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. I believe that my personal experiences help me to connect with my clients. I have experience with marriage, divorce, children, trauma, immigration, and multi-cultural issues. I believe that a client should feel safe and comfortable in order to share their most private information. I do my best to create a warm environment, free of judgement.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents and adults who are dealing with life issues that result in depression, anger, and an inability to function in their daily lives. I also enjoy working with couples and families. I believe that families function as a system and when one family member is out of sync, the entire family is disrupted. In my practice, I see children as young as 3 years of age. Play is the "language of the child" and Play Therapy allows children to work through their issues in a non-threatening environment.

It’s hard to imagine all that our youth are exposed to these days! My passion is helping young people deal with life. As an educator and Certified School Counselor, I’ve witnessed the struggles that our youth face on a daily basis. I recently opened Masterpiece of Mind Counseling Services to help young people across the DFW area.

I am trained in SMART (Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Therapy), developed for children with complex trauma, and I am provisionally certified as a Drumbeat facilitator.
