Hello! My name is Antoinette Martinez. I founded Nourish Play Therapy LLC in 2015 to give children, teens, and their families a safe place to move towards social and emotional health and wellness. I combine play therapy with art, mindfulness, EMDR Therapy, and SandPlay to help children understand their thoughts, feelings, impulses, and needs. I also help kiddos discover their strengths and grow in self-control and responsibility. I have experience in treating life changes, trauma, abuse, neglect, self-injurious behaviors, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, adhd, autism spectrum, developmental delays, school adjustment, divorce and separation, and other behavioral concerns.
I also believe in having healthy and strong parents. Sometimes parents have to take time to heal from their own experiences. I am available for adult therapy or parenting support to help parents be the strong caregivers they are meant to be.
