Life happens to all of us, but it seems to affect us differently as individuals. Anxiety, stress, grief, anger, relationships, and transitions can all challenge how we show up on a daily basis and how we experience the world. What stops a person from growing mentally and emotionally? Could it be fear, past traumas or the uncertainty of the future? Even though growing can be challenging, the truth is that it is necessary. The questions then become, "How does one grow emotionally and mentally? Where do I start?" For anyone with these questions, counseling is an essential part of your growth. The growth begins with taking your first step by scheduling an initial session. Together, we will address the the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that are holding you hostage. The sessions will be designed to grow you into the emotionally healthy person you want to be.

I also offer EMDR to help your brain heal so that the present trauma will fade into the background, allowing you to re-build your preferred future. I have clinical experience working with diagnoses such as dissociative identity disorder, bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, sexual trauma/issues, trauma, panic disorders, and various mood disorders.

Most of my clients come to therapy because they are struggling with how they think and feel about themselves and their relationships.
