I am passionate about working with first responders and veterans. I understand the importance of having a counselor that is culturally competent in these professions. As a former first responder of 18 years (firefighter, EMT and peace officer), I have a sincere and genuine motivation to continue helping others. I currently live in East Tennessee with my wife of 20+ years and our three beautiful adult daughters and grandson (with 2 more grands on the way)! I am a graduate of Ole Miss and the University of Alabama. I have spent the last 8 years as a therapist in multiple settings and prior to that worked in the social work/child welfare field. I bring a unique personal therapeutic approach for adoptive and foster families. I also enjoy working with college students, individuals and couples.
