About

Find Help to survive, and Hope to thrive! You may feel like anxiety, stress, depression or anger are your constant unwanted companions. Keeping these emotions in check will leave you exhausted at the end of the day (emotionally and physically drained). Having somebody to walk along side of you in this season helps! My specialties include treating PTSD/CPTSD (trauma), and ADHD in children or adults. Parents will also find parenting tools to raise their ADHD children! I teach foundational life skills and have a holistic approach to managing mental health: Body, Soul, and Spirit.
I am trained in EMDR and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT) to help with trauma and PTSD. I have experience working with children, and adolescents. I have a National Certification in treating ADHD in children and adults. I am also credentialed as a Clinical Supervisor in the state of Arizona. I help you develop routines and give you tools to thrive.
Married for 44 years to my high school sweetheart. We have raised 3 boys, all happily married and now have 7 grandchildren. I understand the challenges of life on many levels. My passion is for helping people get to where they're going "on purpose." Let's get started putting "help" and "hope" back in your life, call me.

Mastering Your 3 Headed Dragon

Mastering your 3 Headed Dragon is for people who are dealing with anxiety, depression and anger. If you have one, the other two are hiding in the bushes! This group uses ciriculum aimed specifically at General Anxiety Disorder and helps people monitor and learn to deal with the sources of their anxiety. Distractions become addictions and are not effective at alleviating anxiety long term. Learn how to deal with your anxiety "head on!" The group is 10 weeks. ($300.00), the next meeting date to be determined after the pandemic.

More about this group

Feelings Process Group

This open group was originally developed for men at the Union Gospel Mission in Salem, OR. Most of the men were there because they never learned to identify the feelings and emotions they had and how to process and deal with them other than self medicating which lead to a downward spiral. This group is for adult men and women who need help in identifying, processing and understanding how our feelings and emotions affect our perspective and behavior (sometimes subconsciously). Start date TBD with Help and Hope Counseling.

The Cost is $30.00 per person (some insurance can be billed as well). Come to learn about what ADHD is and how it affects the behaviors and thinking of those who have it. Registration is on line at www.Help-Hope.com. This meeting has been postponed due to the COVID-19 virus. It will be rescheduled in June.
