My favorite saying is "practice resurrection", which comes from the end of a Wendell Berry poem. There is a spiritual component to it, but fundamentally it's about being open to the possibility of new life and then choosing to move toward it. So I love to meet with people who have decided that they're ready to address the pain they've been carrying, the questions they've been pushing to the background, or the patterns that are no longer working for them, in order to pursue new life. And I believe the therapeutic process can provide insights and tools to help.

I have worked with a wide range of clients over the course of my career. Many of my clients want to overcome their anxiety, obsessions, compulsions, and fears. She has worked extensively with men and women who have suffered abuse in all its various forms, as well as couples and families just trying to navigate the very real stressors of day to day life in community. She is also a certified mediator, able to assist clients to work together to reach the agreements they choose. Through mediation clients are able to maintain control of their outcome rather than putting it in the hands of a judge or arbitrator.
