My practice is uniquely focused on helping individuals overcome the emotional challenges experienced when trying to make a family. Most individuals assume children will be part of their future. In fact, many have spent years trying to protect against untimely pregnancy. So when obstacles present such as infertility, not having a partner, pregnancy loss, early births, or cancer it can cause incredible pain and suffering. This is where we have to deal with the hard stuff. I'm here to help you sort through the hard stuff, process the trauma, and make value driven decisions about your future.
My objective as a therapist is to help process infertility and loss. We will search for effective coping strategies for one's grief in a pro-pregnant world. Also, I do third-party consultations such as recipient-parent meetings, sperm donor assessments, egg donor assessments, gestational carrier evaluations, and joint meetings.
My advanced training in psychology, and my personal experience coping with fertility challenges, third party reproduction, early birth, and pregnancy loss gives me a unique perspective. You don't have to teach me the fertility lingo, and we can focus on the heart of the matter.
