My counseling journey began in Brazil in 2005 and expanded to the US in 2021. As a therapist with over 10 years of counseling experience, I aim to help clients feel immersed in a secure atmosphere. I offer counseling services to adolescents, adults, and families in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. In addition to providing services for Anxiety, Grief, and Chronic Pain, I am an Early Childhood Development specialist and have a background in counseling high schoolers and families. I am certified in hypnosis by IFEN (Brazil), and my approach is rooted in Solution-Focused techniques and person-centered therapy.

My sessions are provided in English and Portuguese via telehealth. Most of my clients are individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, panic, obsessions and compulsions, co-dependency, and/or relationship issues. I work with clients who value expertise and are willing to invest in their wellbeing and relationships. How important is it for you to feel better? How willing are you to make getting better a priority in your life? Therapy requires commitment and these questions may help you to make a decision whether therapy is an approach worth trying.

I provide telehealth (video) counseling in English and Portuguese to adults suffering with: depression, anxiety, panic, social phobia, obsessions and compulsions, and struggles with relationships, perfectionism and career. Please understand that the success of the therapy is highly correlated to your ability to engage in the process. While having a rapport will provide a safe environment for you to express your challenges, in most cases, this is not enough. It requires your active participation in understanding how the mind works, where emotions come from and your behavioral choices.

I help clients to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression; process grief, loss, history of trauma, abuse; and mediate marriage and relationship problems. If you are going through a rough path, seeking a way to live your life to your best ability, I am here to walk the path with you.

I prefer a psychoanalytic approach to therapy. I believe in tailoring the therapeutic process to meet the needs of the individual patient.
