I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified Counselor with board certification, and certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have four years of clinical experience helping children, teens, young adults, and adults cope with mental health and life stressors. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, trusting, and nurturing space, while meeting clients where they currently are with empathy and respect and working together to move towards your goals and establish resiliency throughout life.

Anchor Counseling Services is a Clinical counseling practice with two locations in Mentor and Westerville Ohio. We offer both Faith-Based and non-religious therapy, which is suited to the client's needs. Our staff believes in the inherent strength of all individuals to work toward wholeness and happiness. We recognize that starting the journey of counseling can be intimidating and scary. We work hard to provide a caring, safe, and comfortable environment where we use non-judgmental approaches in our care with clients.

I have had the opportunity to work with adolescents, adults, and families in both individual and group settings. In my work with adolescents, I have provided care for children and teens who report issues regarding suicide, depression, anxiety, family concerns, and behavioral issues. I have training in art and play therapy and specialize in the unique needs that children and adolescents face. I utilize a strength-based approach with each individual to help them achieve their goals toward wellness. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor-supervisor in the state of Ohio and received her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary.

I believe that every individual has the innate capacity for growth and change, and I am passionate about walking with clients on their journey in therapy. I have been privileged to work with adolescents and adults on a wide array of issues, including depression, anxiety, suicide, self-harm, emotional regulation, family concerns, and other behavioral issues.

When life gets dark, it is hard to see the light. All it takes is one step to begin to find your way again. At the core of my practice is support, trust, and the inherent worthiness of each individual. I walk beside you offering my encouragement, support and knowledge on your path to healing, connection and wellness. Though I work with many of life’s difficulties my focus is generally in working with adults who have trouble with stress, anxiety, fear, rejection, the feeling of "not enough", depression, sadness, life transitions, self-esteem, understanding and being understood.
