I've encountered many devastating situations but I watch hope, coupled with determination turn the situations around. I specialize in individual, couples, family, and adolescent therapy. My main practice is focused on treating trauma and attachment. My trauma training and education is broad and ongoing. I provide treatment to clients age 12 and over and have worked with survivors of domestic violence, rape, sexual abuse, child abuse and neglect. I incorporate EMDR into my practice whenever applicable and use an integrative approach that includes attachment theory, IFS, mindfulness and trauma psychoeducation.

One of the most powerful experiences that a person can have is sitting across from another human being and feeling understood. I approach therapy with a multicultural lens, cognizant of the fact that every person is an individual that has been shaped by their own cultural backdrop (e.g., race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, spiritual path, etc.).
