Over the last 15 years I have had the pleasure of working with children, teens, families, and adults in school, home, community, and office settings. I strive to provide an environment that clients feel safe, supported, and validated. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults. My experience includes working with clients in regards to anxiety and depressive symptoms. I have experience working with ADHD and spectrum diagnoses. My modalities of therapy consists of CBT, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Behavioral. I also provide supervision for those searching for a qualified clinician to fulfill licensing hours.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked & trained in the mental health field for more than 10 years. During the course of my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients who were diverse in the areas of age, gender, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability status, socioeconomic status, & spiritual/religious affiliation. I have worked in various settings & in different roles such as an Outpatient Therapist, a Mental Health Professional in a Partial Hospitalization Program, a Sexual Assault Counselor in a Domestic Violence Shelter & an Assistant Director of Clinical Services in a psychiatric hospital.

With each session as individual as the person, she navigates clients through a unique process to help them transform subconscious forces of personality, old negative patterns, and challenging emotional states. I have 15 years of experience working with children and adults of diverse backgrounds. I have helped clients with issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, anger management, addiction, stress & time management, relationship concerns, general communication skills, and spiritual and religious concerns/inquiry.

I offer individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. Many of my clients present with anxiety, depression, and problems in relationships. I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a starting point with these issues. However, such problems may be symptomatic of deeper concerns such as trauma or an absence of meaning in one's life. In these cases, I may use ACT coupled with Ecotherapy or Three Stage Trauma Therapy. I feel that my effectiveness in helping clients derives from life experience, strong client advocacy, and a focus on the context in which clients' problems are found.
