I am a licensed clinical social worker offering telehealth therapy sessions for Pennsylvania residents aged 14 and older. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and also utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) and mindfulness strategies. I became a therapist because I love learning people’s stories and helping them look at things with a fresh perspective. I bring curiosity to each session, as we explore the past and look at present difficulties. Typically, the things you are struggling with now have roots in the past: when we address the pain of yesterday, today gets easier.
I encourage use of new skills and strategies in between sessions because this is when growth happens. I have experience treating trauma, anxiety and depression. I have extensive training in working with people on the autism spectrum. My clients would describe me as warm, calming and encouraging.
