He specializes in experiential therapies such as songwriting and lyric analysis, attachment focused music therapy, and an innovative integration of tabletop role-playing games into group therapy. Group therapy is focused on building interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and problem solving skills.

Life can present various challenges, transitions, and stressors that can be overwhelming at times – perhaps you are searching for help with: grief, anxiety, depression, PTSD, or trauma; family conflict/parenting issues; unhealthy personal or professional relationships; child/teen with behavioral problems; or generational trauma or racial discrimination. I love working with teens, young adults, and their families, as they work through concerns such as trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have been a mental health therapist for teens with trauma in residential care over the past few years. This has equipped me to become well versed in various and complicated diagnoses that impact entire family systems. This has also led me to use therapeutic modalities (interventions) that break down the barriers talk-therapy often has for youth, including engagement, trust, and buy-in to the therapeutic process.

I have been working with children, teens, families and couples for almost 33 years. I’m Desiree, a queer, woman of color therapist located in Southern Oregon. I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, helping them integrate past wounding, navigate fear, and cultivate acceptance. I am passionate about guiding clients through embodied grief processes, as a powerful tool for individual and collective healing and a way to reclaim our wellbeing. I work with all ages, but am especially interested in working with young adults, navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges related to living in uncertain times.

Gabriel McCoy, LMFT (Clinical Director of Trinity Counseling Center, LLC) holds a B.S. from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, and a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA.

My work is grounded in the knowing that we are all spiritual beings and that we are all equipped with everything we need to heal ourselves. My work with people is about supporting them to reconnect with themselves, to remember who they are, and to take steps towards more wholeness.
