My goal as a therapist is to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space to be yourself and work toward your personal goals. It is my belief that every individual is capable of fostering change when given a safe place to be vulnerable and heard. You may be struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety or feeling stagnant and discouraged. Whether you are going through a difficult time or feel as if you are in a downward spiral, together we can work toward positive change, establishing healthy coping skills, building on existing strengths and empowering you to take action.

Feeling overwhelmed and TIRED every day. Coping skills are nonexistent or are not working. Day to day activities are exhausting, or at least the way you are doing them makes it feel that way. Between job and/or school responsibilities and home/family responsibilities it all seems to be too much. You want to be able to prioritize, complete things and feel productive. Time to get out of surviving and start thriving.

There are many things that can contribute to the stressors of life. Our mental health and overall sense of well-being are incredibly important to how we deal with this stress. For some people there are very clear mental health issues such as symptoms of anxiety, depression, or other mood issues that have caused problems for them. For other people there may not be identifiable mental health issues, rather a general sense that something in life is not going right, or something needs to change.

I have a passion for serving people. I believe everyone deserves to become the healthiest version of themselves. I am passionate about helping people find their value and self-worth. I enjoy the process of helping someone discover the hard moments in life that have led them to their current challenges. David received his Masters in Addiction Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma and has been in recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism since June 9th, 2015. Inspired by his own recovery journey, David returned to school so he can help others on their recovery journey. He has a passion for empowering people to improve their relationships and circumstances and find sobriety. David enjoys working with individuals, adolescents, groups, and families struggling with substance use disorders and mental health.

My practice is aimed towards Christians who desire biblical help now! Tired of miscommunication, endless fighting, and want guidance? I value each counselee as uniquely created by God. I believe that it is important not only to focus on a counselee's emotional and physical needs, but their spiritual needs as well. My practice is dedicated to examining the heart through practical nouthetic counseling. I specialize in helping counselees examine biblical truths and practical guidance from the Word of God for their problems and experiencing the sufficiency of the Bible for today's woes.
