Change being a constant force in our lives means that there is constant opportunity for us to create something different for ourselves. Opportunity can feel exciting, and it can also be a difficult and disorienting process. Losing sense of self, values, and direction, and uncertainty about the future are common experiences- ones you don't have to navigate alone. Additionally, if you find yourself experiencing anxiety, low mood, difficulties with relationships with both yourself and/or others, or if intense emotions are getting in the way, then you've come to the right place!
You have clicked on me for a reason, I hope you will read on. There must be something in your life that you are struggling with. Struggling with OCD? Maybe feeling alone in your relationship? Feeling disconnected and depressed? Have been in therapy before and want deeper solutions? I am happy and honored to help. I practice with compassion and truly want to help you find a solution. You've taken an important first step in searching for help and I hope you will join me in your journey.
I believe that the value of therapy rests in the inherent promise it offers to help you to become your best self. I strive to see you as a whole person - appreciating that many things shape who you are such as your physical health, your spiritual beliefs and the relationships you have. My primary goal is to help you cultivate the life you desire by assisting you to articulate the problems that you are having - now and in the past - and identify practical solutions you can apply to feel better now and over time.
Are you grappling with themes of meaning and purpose? Feeling defined by your past, destined to repeat the same unfulfilling cycles for the unforeseeable future? Maybe it feels like the issue is your career, your relationship, or the city you’re living in. You may also be thinking that if you just lose some weight, get more sleep, make a little more money, or find some adventure, surely then you’d be happy. The truth is that you are not doomed to this kind of unending disconnection and dissatisfaction, nor are you destined to perpetuate the cycles of generations before you.
Making it to the “actively looking for a therapist” stage is a whole feat by itself- so let me begin by acknowledging what it takes to make it here. Therapy can require facing discomforts, and my goal is to help you approach what is uncomfortable in a way that is empowering and brings you closer in touch with your inner strength. My therapeutic style is warm and action oriented. I am passionate about using evidence-based treatments in order to help you reduce your symptoms, gain coping skills, and experience more freedom!
I recognize the process of healing is an investment that takes vulnerability, courage, time, and energy, which may be difficult and intimidating. I imagine you have been doing your best to navigate life and painful emotional experiences that have shaped who you are. As we experience conflict, grief, pain, and emotion in general, we respond in our own unique way that may no longer be helpful. The process of psychotherapy is designed to give you an opportunity to examine the way you relate to yourself and the world around you, thereby allowing you to cultivate awareness, change, and growth in your life.
My passions are treating OCD and helping LGBTQ+ folks navigate identity processes. Many of my clients joke that I am "not a talk therapist, but a 'do' therapist," as sessions are often very active and skills focused. I view therapy as a supportive environment where I can help clients face their fears. I provide only evidence-based treatments, as my goal is to help people get results as soon as possible.
Therapy shouldn't last forever. Do you feel overwhelmed but don't really know what to do? Do you feel down and nervous but no one seems to understand what you are going through? Or are you confused about your own feelings or thoughts? I can help you work through those confusing and difficult times. You don't have to be alone. I will help you explore your strengths and resources to cope with what you are going through and to achieve a better quality of life.
Change can be difficult - but with support it becomes possible. You might be struggling with difficult thoughts like "what if my family never accepts my life choices - will they ever accept me?" Perhaps you're battling indecisiveness and fear about whether you're "good enough" to succeed, preventing you from reaching your aspirations and goals? Or maybe you feel confident and successful at times, but at other moments as if your shield for taking on the world is paper-thin? I utilize methods including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help resolve these concerns.
I have worked with adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families with mental health challenges since 1990. I have spent a great deal of time supporting individuals with trauma histories to find healing and move forward in reaching their goals. I feel incredibly humbled to be able to come alongside individuals and families and be a part of their journey toward healing and wholeness. I try to meet each individual where they are at with respect, empathy, and hope for growth and recovery.
I am an experienced therapist who is 100% focused on my client's needs. I provide a comfortable environment where you will feel safe, understood, and accepted. Through my assistance and guidance, you will be able to overcome obstacles, resolve challenges, and get on a path toward a whole new beginning.
Undoubtedly, the communities we serve are rich with resources. Let’s face it though. A very crucial resource that is sorely lacking in the cities we serve are providers who truly understand the obstacles poverty has put on families, and the unfortunate burden they are left with when expected to carry on as if nothing is wrong. The weight of this burden on families and individuals alike takes a huge toll and may yield adverse effects. HEAR ME when I tell you that YOU ARE NOT ALONE! I started Intentional Impact LMSW PLLC because I now find myself in a position to truly give back to my friends, family, and my community.
Hi! I am Molly and have a genuine passion for helping people. Healing includes change, change can be uncomfortable, but that is when you know that you truly are healing and moving in a more positive direction with your life. My role is to help facilitate that change. Clients often come to therapy because they continuously are repeating patterns that are unhealthy and maladaptive. My job is to help you identify the patterns, to better understand yourself, and to help you reconnect with yourself.

No matter how hard you try, you find that you're still stuck. I am here to help you uncover the tools to free yourself and forge a path towards healing.
Perhaps you feel out of balance, are struggling with a transition, or are seeking to find a state of wellness in your life; or maybe your child is struggling emotionally and/or behaviorally, is going through a big life change, or you're wanting them to have space to explore and express themselves with a professional. My therapeutic philosophy is relationally and psychodynamically driven, trauma-informed and flexible; we will work together to tailor support that's right for you.
Sometimes life's challenges become unmanageable and we need someone to help us navigate until we can once again find our way. I hope to create a comfortable, safe and confidential environment where you feel understood and accepted. I will help you explore your life stressors and create an environment to help you look at your concerns from an unbiased perspective, helping you to find your unique path.
I focus of guiding persons with sexual addictions and their partners through the journey of recovery from sexual addiction and partner betrayal trauma. I provide a safe space to begin to learn the skills to achieve and maintain sobriety using an evidence-based approach. I also help individuals begin to understand and recover from the underlying issues, such as trauma, other addictions, or other life experiences. For the betrayed partner I focus on helping them find their voice to express the deep pain caused by the addictive behavior as well as identifying a path to health and begin their own recovery process .
I provide services to children, teenagers, adults and families and have over 18 years of experience as a psychotherapist.
