I have worked with a very diverse group of people throughout my career as I have spent most of my career working, developing, and managing community mental health programs. I have extensive experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, sexual identity issues, life transitions, burnout, stress management, personality disorders, mood disorders, psychosis, and trauma histories. I strive to empower people to see their full potential and worth through a client-centered, strength-based approach.

Handspring is a modern mental health clinic that provides personalized, evidence-based behavioral care for children, adolescents, and young adults. We currently serve children ages 10-18 and young adults ages 18-24 who are looking for treatment for anxiety, depression, or behavioral difficulties. Barbara earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Temple University and received her master’s degree from Chestnut Hill College in Counseling and Clinical Psychology. Barbara’s approach is warm, encouraging, and collaborative. She has experience working with adults in early and long-term recovery. Barbara practices trauma-informed counseling and has experience working with clients who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, mental abuse, and neglect.
