My goal is to teach clients coping skills to balance between validating these hard moments while compassionately working toward meaningful change. I strive to provide a safe space to work through emotions and find effective ways to manage them. I help people process the ways that our past experiences and current reactions affect the decisions that we make in order to promote healthy change and understanding of ourselves and our patterns. Oftentimes, we are not aware of the underlying things that influence our gut reactions which can create a barrier to us meeting the goals we set for ourselves. Counseling is a way to help you understand yourself better and to break down those barriers that stop you from moving forward.

I am a relationally oriented psychotherapist offering treatment to those living in NY, PA, and NJ seeking relief from emotional suffering. I practice from a contemporary psychodynamic orientation, paying careful attention to the ways in which our sociocultural experiences inform our psychological development. I regard symptoms as opportunities for growth when approached with curiosity, compassion, and respect. I am a New Jersey Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Masters of Social Work from Fordham University and Bachelors in Social work from Stockton University . I am a Gottman Method Level 3 Trained therapist and trained in Trauma Focused CBT. My go to method is Cognitive behavioral therapy but I will use an eclectic method depending on the needs of each Individual. I love working alongside individuals to figure out the barriers to living their best life and how to achieve their therapeutic goals.
