Learning to effectively communicate requires sharing feelings, understanding, and listening to one another. Acting independently while committed to interdependent relationships such as marriage and family, will inevitably lead to conflict. The rational, and at times irrational mind, seeks self-satisfaction without giving conscious and careful thought to how loved ones might be affected by their actions. Consulting with an experienced counselor can help identify, and avoid, potential conflict. Once identified, the relationship trajectory shifts to applying methods & mantras, that strengthen marriages and families.
Dr. Salley is the Owner/CEO of Memorable Marriage Moments, LLC which specializes in premarital counseling and wedding officiation. The caring, and creative approach that her practice provides, offers a beautiful, biblical platform, from which to build and further develop positive communication skills that lead to a loving, and lasting marriage.
