Are you or your child in a confusing time that you just can’t quite figure out, or re-experiencing a traumatic event that continues to disrupt your life? With a decade of experience as a therapist working in a wide variety of settings, I use an integrated approach including CBT, EMDR, faith-based, psychodynamic and others to treat multiple issues including anxiety, relationship conflict, depression, spirituality and more. My specialty is in treating grief and loss, which can come from not only death and divorce/break-ups, but by estrangement, disappointment, loneliness and many other experiences in life.

The therapeutic relationship can provide an opportunity for you to process emotional, relational, and spiritual issues in a safe, non-judgmental environment. I incorporate a wide range of strategies in my therapeutic philosophy and style based on your need. In addition to individual therapy, I provide marital and family therapy, including mutli-generational family sessions. Much of my previous professional experience has been with relationship issues, grief, women's issues and trauma. I am currently accepting new patients.

I am a Certified Rehab Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Abuse Specialist Associate, and I hold a Doctorate in Community Counseling and Traumatology. I'm experienced in individual, family, and group counseling. I assist individuals with issues such as self-esteem, anxiety, anger management, behavioral difficulties, child and adolescent development, family communication, substance abuse and more. Through co-therapy, my colleague and I also work with couples to successfully navigate through divorce and breakups, amicably resolving issues that not only effect the couples but also any children who may be involved.

As a counselor, I believe that true and lasting change comes from looking at the whole person. I work with patients to bring about transformation through an understanding of the body, emotional healing, behavioral change and a spiritual foundation. I enjoy working with adolescents and families who have been affected by violence, trauma, family changes, drugs and major life changes. I also work with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, life changes, addictions as a result of trauma, self-regulation, stress and conflict. I desire to help strengthen and deepen your personal relationship with Jesus Christ as you heal.
