NOTE: Only daytime (BEFORE 3PM) spots currently available. Life is full of challenges, but what happens when those challenges are harder to overcome than you expect? Whether we find ourselves with a mental illness that makes coping harder, or in extreme situations we never thought we'd face, there comes a point where we need a little help. Counseling and therapy can provide that help and get you to the place and person you want to be. It is my goal to help you meet your goals, whether that's overcoming a difficult past, surviving a difficult present, or being able to envision an easier future. We'll get there together!
I pull from a variety of theories when it comes to therapy. My go-tos are CBT and DBT. This means I focus on thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and how they all interact to contribute to client problems. In order to make sure my clients recieve therapy tailored to their needs, I may also pull from theories like ACT, EFT, or Existential Theory.
Reaching out for help takes strength. Together, we can use that strength, some tools, and a little bit of time to overcome whatever challenges you're facing. If you're ready to make a change and ask for help, reach out! I look forward to working with you.
