Greetings, I am a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist with a Master of Science in Substance Abuse Counseling. I have 25 years of experience working in substance use and behavioral health. I am experienced with medically-managed treatment (MAT) and can provide you with an integrative and holistic approach to alcohol/drug addiction using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address the whole person - mind, body, and spirit.

I know it is a challenge finding a therapist to fit your individual needs and the process can be exhausting. I work with a variety of mental health disorders ranging from anxiety and depression, to substance use, to severe and persistent mental illness. I believe that each client deep down has their own answers and I work partner with and empower each client to find their true self. I incorporate a variety of modalities ranging from Internal Family Systems to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients explore and achieve their goals.

Another Way Recovery Services has a team of licensed addiction recovery professionals. We are passionate about what we do. While we are currently private pay or Out-of-Network, we are diligently working on In-Network insurance coverage. We currently offer our services in GA, TN, and NC.

My idea as a psychotherapist is to provide safe, comfortable & judgment-free environment for clients to work through issues. My role as a psychotherapist is to respect the goals that my clients come in with, and support the process of working toward these goals. I believe Psychotherapy can enhance one's self-awareness and the ability to recognize in one's own self-defeating and self-sabotaging patterns, and to change these patterns.

Our licensed therapists have extensive training and experience in issues affecting adults, couples, children, adolescents and their families. I have also counseled numerous people with severe mental illness including Depression, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders, and others. Both addiction and mental illness are chronic, debilitating disorders that can be arrested and treated for you to live a life with hope.

Healing starts with connection. Emily uses a person-centered approach to address effective communication, anger management, interpersonal struggles, and adjustment or transitional challenges. Emily provides individual counseling services, case support, care coordination, and community resources to connect adolescents and adults with individualized clinical care appropriate for each client.

Charlotte Outpatient Center offers an outpatient duel diagnosis alcoholism/addiction program that teaches you to avoid relapse risks, overcome obstacles, and move on to a life of sobriety. We offer relapse prevention, 12-step involvement, cognitive behavioral approaches, anger management, coping/expressing emotions, and family involvement. We conduct a small group program in an intimate, casual, supportive setting. Our pricing is reasonable and we are one of the few outpatient programs that provide individual and family counseling as a part of the program. Also, our therapists' credentials and experience are the highest in the field.
