I work with adults, adolescents, and couples on concerns including relational issues, body image, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, infertility, trauma, and stress management. Maddie is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and a pre-licensed psychotherapist under supervision for LPCC licensure. She has immediate openings for therapy. She has a background as a writer that informs her approach to therapy. She believes in the importance of empowering people to develop and grow into their own story and tap into their own motivations for change. She also believes that building community support and connection is an integral part of the healing process. She has experience working with adult men, adult women, adolescents, and LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients with various mental health issues.

Therapy is a unique experience in which trust and collaboration are built and developed over time between the therapist, client, and family members. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I strive to look at the family as a system and how an individual client within the system is able to develop appropriate boundaries and healthy communication patterns. I utilize CBT, DBT and Play Therapy techniques. I am DBT trained and I am working towards certification in this area. I am also trained in Play Therapy and close to becoming a Registered Play Therapist. I work with children age 3-years to adults.
