Hi. I provide therapy and support to individuals and families using a person-centered holistic approach to work through life's various challenges. With over 8 years in the helping profession, I have had the pleasure of working with individuals, couples, and families, from adolescents to middle-aged adults, who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, sexual abuse, OCD, perinatal loss, and mood and personality disorders, among other issues that cause distress.

In my practice I work with two groups of people, couples and Men/Adolescent Boys. When working with couples we focus on building trust and safety while exploring past hurts, marital conflict, parenting struggles, resentment, affairs and addiction. I also enjoy working with couples who are newly approaching marriage with pre-marital counseling. When working with Men/Adolescent boys we explore grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety relationships, betrayal, depression, ADD/ADHD, personal failure, divorce, sexual struggles, infidelity, pornography, drugs and alcohol addiction.

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker with the state of Mississippi. Services provided by my practice will include individual, marriage, family, and group therapy. I have worked with numerous populations suffering from a variety of psychological and mental issues during my career. My counseling and therapeutic approach has a tendency to be client centered utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy and Reality Therapy.

Most any therapist will tell you that they prefer seeing clients who are motivated to change. Clients presenting as "depressed" often express little or no hope. Clients with anxiety have difficulty seeing stressful situations as manageable. Couples often present with one or both doubting that the marriage can survive. I believe all clients have incredible inherent God-given resources to effect positive change. Likewise, I believe marriages are salvageable, if couples are willing to work, to be vulnerable, to accept, and to understand that the greatest expression of love is to fully know and to be known.
