My desire to empower those in need began shortly after I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of six. I was inspired by my healthcare providers, whose personalized care, support, and knowledge provided the foundation for living a healthy and fulfilling life.

Therapeutic Partners, LLC, is an outpatient behavioral health clinic owned and operated by clinicians who believe progressive, integrative care vastly improves patient outcomes. We specialize in trauma informed care and have multiple therapist trained in several evidence based approaches, including EMDR, Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), and Trauma Based CBT to name a few. We also offer Neurofeedback (Othmer Method) as an adjunct intervention for our clients. Our team-based approach assists our clients in achieving their highest possible level of functioning, thus improving the overall wellness of our community.

Over the last 15 years I have helped individuals and families with a wide range of issues, and have developed these specialties. I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems theory, while adding an understanding of neuropsychological functioning to help my clients. These methods have been clinically proven and are evidence based treatments.

I have 20 years experience working with adults, children, and families. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive/behavioral therapy, insight oriented treatment, and solution focused counseling. I am also trained in EMDR which helps clients to process trauma memories and often helps when a client feels "stuck" in a particular phase of therapy. I have worked as an Early Intervention Specialist in the school system for 19 years. I have extensive training in play therapy, using both directive and non-directive techniques

Ms. Williams possesses over 20 years of experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide array of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, Anxiety, Depression, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder as well as Family Relational Difficulties and Peer/Social Difficulties. Ms. Williams has also worked in the school system assisting school administrators and faculty with behavior interventions, co-leading a bereavement group for children, co-facilitating a daily peer leadership class, and maintaining a caseload of students referred for individual counseling.

The PsychoNeuroPlasticity (PNP) Center is currently accepting children, adolescents and adults who may be living with ADD/ADHD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Mood Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Anxiety, Depression, Memory, and Brain-Health concerns as well as other Neurological and Spectrum Disorders. We offer a comprehensive 2-day brain-based assessment along with three-month follow-up and treatment planning.

I have my Doctorate of counseling psychology (PsyD), am a licensed professional counselor - supervisor (LPC), registered play therapist - supervisor (RPT-S), a nationally certified counselor (NBCC), certified dependency counselor - I (CDC-I), and a master addictions counselor (MAC).

I experience a lot of success using the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model in helping clients to live more fulfilling lives. We are all carrying wounds from childhood experiences, as well as, generational and cultural experiences, stories and beliefs that surround and influence us. My role as a therapist using this model is to guide clients in building a dynamic and compassionate relationship to their internal worlds and with the world around them. When we learn to appreciate how we have adapted to our wounds, we can change our patterns of behavior, as well as, love ourselves and others more actively and fully.
