As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience, I have worked with individuals from all walks of life. I am a therapist specializing in adult mental health and addiction disorders. I have 10 years of experience providing individual, family, group, and couples therapy. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient environments. My mission is to be used by God to help others reach their highest potential and purpose in life; to represent and teach tolerance, respect, and harmony; and to promote social and economic justice. I believe that all people regardless of race, culture, age, gender, religion, physical or mental disability, and sexual orientation are entitled to basic rights and fair, humane treatment.

I have been trained as a clinical social worker, addictions counselor, and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. I utilize experiential therapies and EMDR to help people reclaim their lives. In my practice I focus on helping adults struggling with developmental trauma and PTSD, sex and pornography addiction, recovery from narcissistic abuse & traumatic bonding, and drug/alcohol addiction. Parents of addicted adults and folks with internet/gaming/screen addictions are also specialty areas.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and I specialize in couples counseling, trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, and women’s issues. For those who desire it, I can integrate Christian counseling into the sessions. My approach enables me to support you in a way that respects your values and beliefs while also making use of the best practices in mental health care. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while using evidence-based therapy.

It's my passion helping people get what they want in their life and relationships. I help INDIVIDUALS make changes and overcome obstacles to get what they want in life and with the people they care about. I help COUPLES reconnect and revitalize their relationship. I work with FAMILIES to break through patterns and blocks, and begin to enjoy each other and create the home they dream of.

I have been in social work for more than 18 years, working with many different populations with a myriad of struggles and issues. I enjoy working with children of all ages struggling with behavior issues, anxiety, and depression. I also work with adults struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. When deciding on a plan of treatment, I consider what the client wants, what their life experience is, and what my experience is to identify the best fit for each individual.

Many of us find ourselves vowing to raise our children without the pain we experienced in our own childhoods. Despite this deep commitment to ending destructive family cycles, we may find ourselves repeating old patterns with our own partners and children. We may have lost touch with our own inner child and creative center along the way. With the right healing, support, and new tools for our toolbox, we can become the individuals, partners, and parents that we want to be.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have more than 10 years of clinical practice. I am trained in treating adults, children, adolescents and families. I also have extensive training in addiction and dually diagnosed clients. My training is in areas of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, IFS and certified in Anger Management. I have practiced within outpatient and inpatient settings for the past 13 years. I am currently working on becoming a supervisor for LMFT's. I take a trauma informed, compassionate approach while addressing the issues and dynamics head on. I work extremely well with families, adults, kids, adolescents and couples.

My client's receive Hope at first session, I have experience of seeing client's find healing as they activate the great healer inside. I specialize in working with grief, loss, and trauma and also have experience working with anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, depression, and relationship issues. I take a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy and enjoy relating to and uncovering a person’s highest self. In my work with clients, I draw from mindfulness-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as well as from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Buddhist Psychology, and Existential approaches. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based treatment for trauma.
