Karen Conway's Groups

For Preschoolers

I run a small group for children who have had difficulty socially interacting with their peers and following instructions in the preschool classroom setting. In this group, which mimics the structure of a preschool classroom, the children will learn to share and follow instructions, take turns, and use emotional and behavioral self-control in a nurturing, fun, and supportive setting.

For the Anxious Teen

This is a small group that I run for teens who struggle with fears and worries to the degree that their social, emotional, and/or academic functioning is negatively impacted. The focus of the group, which teaches evidence-based strategies proven to reduce anxiety, is to help teens turn upper case WORRIES into smaller, more manageable lower case worries.
