I work with individuals, couples, and groups whose lives have been disrupted by anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, traumatic events, substance abuse, and sexual addiction. My goal is to accept clients unconditionally, where they are, as they are. I provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere in which my clients can explore, process and find freedom from the issues that hinder them from fulfilling their God-given roles. To best meet the needs of my clients, I use a variety of modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), DBT, Somatic focused, and Mindfulness strategies.
I empower my clients by helping them understand the issues they face and equip them with practical tools and strategies they can apply immediately. Once the most pressing needs are addressed, we work together to identify and process underlying issues (e.g., childhood trauma, unresolved conflicts, resentments, ineffective coping skills, attachment issues).

DivorceCare - Houston's First Baptist Church
Welcome to DivorceCare! We welcome men and women who are separated, newly divorced, or have been divorced for years. Our goal is to provide a biblically based approach to understanding and responding to the issues involved in separation and divorce. In addition to relevant topics, most members find the greatest benefit of DivorceCare comes from the support and encouragement from other members of the group. There are no fees for attending, but workbooks cost $20 and are an integral part of the 13 week course. New classes start in August, 2021. We look forward to meeting you soon!
