I believe effective therapy involves a client-therapist relationship based on relatability and trust, along with the use of research-proven, active strategies to create lasting emotional and behavioral change. I have over 17 years of experience in private practice working with people of a variety of ages and backgrounds. My relational style is down to earth, using very little psychological jargon or labeling.
I use a model of therapy utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral principles (CBT) and can provide exercises and resources to be used in between sessions to enhance the results. Using this approach, I truly believe meaningful change can occur in a relatively short period of time. I provide both in-person and virtual sessions based on your needs.
If the active use of CBT interests you, or you have any questions about my practice, please feel free to reach out by email or phone.
