Are you looking for an experienced, local therapist for yourself or a family member? I have had extensive experience, both professionally and personally, in treating both adults and children. who have suffered loss, childhood abuse, depression and shame. I am currently offering clients a choice between teletherapy or being seen in my Oak Park office.

I am passionate about helping people navigate challenging interpersonal relationships, process family of origin trauma, and develop mindfulness skills to cope with OCD, anxiety, phobias, and body image struggles. Many of my adult clients tend to be curious about how their upbringings have shaped them, have some “perfectionistic” or “people-pleasing” tendencies, be part of public service professions (e.g., teachers, social workers, etc.), feel “separate” or “different” from other people, and/or identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also work with children and adolescents using art and play therapy techniques!

Hi! I am Savannah Williams, a clinically licensed therapist (LCPC). I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults. My experience is in crisis work, partial and intensive hospitalization, and private practice. I often use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to help you identify and target negative thinking patterns and behaviors you want to change.
