As a licensed psychologist, I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults who struggle with behavioral and emotional difficulties.

I specialize in Trauma, Anxiety, mind/body work, and Couples Counseling. I have a passion for a mind-body-spirit approach to mental health care as anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal stress have a great impact on all three. Two quotes that help explain my approach to Counseling are Carl Jung’s famous quote, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate” and a quote by Paul Batalden; “Every system is perfectly designed to achieve exactly the results it gets.” We function within many systems in our lives and one of the most important systems is our internal one.

I am a seasoned and mature psychoanalyst offering patients an in-depth therapy experience with the goal of very real change. I see most all late adolescent and adult patient populations. I offer several specialties including psychoanalysis, psychotherapy and supportive counseling. Please note that I have extensive experience treating post-traumatic stress disorders and dissociative disorders. I have worked, supervised and taught in Philadelphia, Seattle, Montana and Idaho for thirty plus years and am well recognized in these communities.

I am now accepting new clients with evening and Saturday appointments available. I work with a broad array of clients including individuals and couples struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, PTSD, OCD, marital issues, grief, pornography use, suicidal behavior/thoughts, as well as other issues.

As a trauma specialist, I love working with clients, both children and adults, who are impacted by traumatic experiences. I use EMDR and other modes of treatment to help client’s explore, process, and understand their trauma. My goal is to help clients heal by developing healthy coping skills, reducing the impact of shame and self-criticism, and change their relationship with negative past experiences. I particularly enjoy working with clients from all different faith backgrounds, assisting them with faith exploration or deconstruction as well as individuals who have experienced religious trauma.

I have been working with individuals and families for 18+ years. I practice from the belief that we often have barriers that block us from experiencing the fullness of life-relationally, spiritually, and biologically. I have lived in many countries around the world and practice from an approach that values each person's individual cultural and values. I obtained my BA from Northwest Nazarene University and my graduate degree at Eastern Washington University. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Willow Creek Counseling provides therapy to patients seeking to recover from trauma, grief, addiction, or needing services as a couple. I am a Level 2 Gottman Institute-trained therapist and provide couples intensives from this framework. I am an EMDR Consultant and offer EMDR intensives for patients seeking EMDR. Intensives are an alternative to the weekly model of therapy. Both types of intensives are offered in an 8 or 14-hour program. Each program offers personalized treatment plans that allow you to skip the waitlist by giving you faster access to select spots and are designed to support your preferred schedule and time.
