My goal is to help bring peace and balance to your mind and body by creating a safe space for you to process thoughts and emotions. As a Latinx woman, I am passionate about working with the Latinx community and young adults struggling with anxiety, life transitions, and stress.

Making the decision to reach out to a counselor is a big step. I am passionate about helping individuals understand and overcome personal challenges in a safe, supportive and collaborative space. I have been working in the counseling field for 12+ years. The experience of living in different countries has shaped my worldview by respecting and integrating each individual’s culture and values. I relocated to Idaho in 2019 and obtained my Master’s in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University in 2023. My name is I am Adriana Villarreal (supervised by Dr. Cheryl Ivory) I provide therapy, counseling, special education advocacy consultation and representation for parents as well as psychological testing. I am fluent in English and Spanish. My experience: Children (elementary aged), teens, young Adults, Hispanic community and 1st generation Latinos or Hispanics. I have over 13 years of experience in the education field working with individuals with special needs and/or low income or areas of poverty. Therapy can be a valuable tool in helping build a healthy lifestyle.

People struggle in a wide spectrum of problems, in a range of settings that require a clinical approach and direction. Through a therapeutic approach, I help clients feel understood and safe because this is an important aspect of the healing process. Helping clients understand beliefs, emotions and behaviors is an important aspect for progress . While cognitive behavioral therapy is at the core of my approach, I believe that cognitive restructuring is essential in client progress. An eclectic approach is necessary because each client is unique and presents with unique strengths, needs and goals.

Hello, my name is Dianira, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong passion for helping people find meaning and healing in their walk through life. I completed my undergraduate degree in 2010 from the University of Oregon and my master’s degree in counseling in 2015 from Northwest Nazarene University. I utilize play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, faith-based therapy and have a person-centered approach when helping clients. My goal is to provide every client with a safe place, free of judgment where they can unload and process through life yet leave with practical tools that will help them.

We each have a purpose in life. We deserve to feel and be safe. During our most challenging times along with the many changes and stressors we encounter through our life journey, including past trauma, grief/loss, poor self-acceptance, mental health challenges, and now the current pandemic, we may begin to feel lost and confused.
