Hello! My name is Issa (she/her). I am an LPC with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I see counseling as a partnership that can free us to become the fullest & most thriving version of ourselves. I have a passion for working with children & adolescents, those who have experienced trauma, minority cultures in the U.S., and anyone who may feel alienated in their community. I'm trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
I typically work with those who have experienced hardships in childhood, interpersonal trauma, foster care, adoption, and spiritual/religious issues. I also have a special place in my heart for my LGBTQIA+ family, those who may feel they do not fully fit in within their community, and those carrying the weight of generational or historical trauma.
