I am an experienced psychotherapist dedicated to working with individuals and couples on increasing self esteem, strengthening relationships, and improving communication skills. I focus on utilizing an individual's strengths to reinforce coping skills and self-esteem and I help couples to learn how to express their needs and communicate better to increase positive feelings and intimacy.
I specialize in relationships, intimacy issues, and issues around self-esteem. I utilize a multi modal approach in my work including psychodynamic, insight oriented and cognitive based practices. My personal philosophy is that with insight and understanding of past patterns of behavior, we can all make positive changes in our lives and relationships.
I work primarily with adults in individual and couples therapy. I also run a monthly men’s support group and a women’s support group in which participants get great feedback and insights from each other. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation. Feel free to call with any questions!
