There are 4 modules of DBT. This group is the The Distress Tolerance Module. Learn ways to change patterns of responding to difficult situations in ways that are destructive and make things worse. In this module you will learn both "crisis survival" skills, which focus on responding to short term negative situations AND "acceptance" based skills, which teach strategies to help participants cope better with long term painful situations.

Emotion Regulation teaches participants to be able to understand their emotions, change or reduce unwanted emotions and reduce their emotional vulnerability.
