Jennifer earned her Master's degree in Social Work at Kennesaw State University graduating cum laude. She is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. A New Jersey native, Jennifer relocated to Cobb County in 2005 as a single parent raising two children. She is active in the community and her church. Jennifer has extensive experience working with varied populations: working with a pregnancy resource center; inpatient adolescents; individuals/families in the community; as well as substance abuse/mental health IOP/PHP treatment settings.

I am passionate about working with clients who need support and empowerment in every aspect of their lives. I want to create a safe and affirming space for my clients, and I would love to work with individuals who deeply need an accepting and supportive environment to explore and achieve their goals. I specialize in working with ADHD, autism, trauma, and perfectionism. I enjoy working with clients who are processing life transitions, need support through academic and professional difficulties, and desire holistic mental health support. I believe that there is immense value in building a trust and respect-based therapeutic alliance.

While the journey of healing is a nebulous thing, I believe we are built to do it. We can uncover who we truly are and live out of that place with love. No matter what pain you carry, you can learn to carry it well. There are no easy answers in life and I won't try to give you them. But I will help you hold the beautiful tension of your life with confidence.

I assist those whose anxiety takes over at the worst possible moments. Say, at work, school, the grocery store, in the car, or home alone and nothing is working to calm down or make it stop. I walk along side those whose inner critic, insecurities, and low self-esteem has taken their life from them but can't pinpoint the cause or "why". I also work with those whose emotions are so overwhelming so they act out of character, overly people-please, fear rejection, and hide their true selves away. For those "black sheeps" struggling with imposter syndrome and becoming exhausted daily keeping up with the expectations and goals of others.

Trauma leaves us feeling disoriented, hopeless and disconnected from ourselves and others. You’re someone who deeply desires to feel safe and connected with yourself and others but still find yourself ruled by trauma, feeling out of control of your emotions and reactions, and feeling shame that you can’t “get it together.” . My therapeutic style is empathetic, energetic, relatable, approachable, and passionate. I know therapy can be scary, so I try to create a safe and positive environment. Clients will feel that I’m truly in their corner while not shying away from pointing out blind spots to aid in their growth.
