I work with adults going through various life and relationship transitions, and those dealing with anxiety, stress, and depression related to these changes. I also work with clients who would like to improve self-care, compassion, and self-worth.

I love working with adults of all ages and have a heart for supporting women through their journey into motherhood, both pre- and post-partum. I love getting to know people from different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives than my own and engage in ongoing training to do my very best to serve our diverse community well. I provide individual therapy for adults, as well as skills-based DBT groups.

I find sacred purpose in helping clients navigate the complexity of human relationships in all their suffering, beauty, and diversity. This includes the relationship to our self, which has often been wounded by other significant relationships-with family, partners, friends, colleagues, faith, and society at large. Since depression, anxiety, and PTSD often have roots in relationship distress, my work supports you to heal relational wounds, ease emotional pain, and repair trust in your self’s inner wisdom to create a dynamic, loving life that aligns with your truth. As a University of Michigan trained sex therapist, I work largely with women in treating a range of sexual, relationship, and intimacy concerns. I see clients from both heterosexual and LGBT communities. I am a Black queer cis woman. I hold space as a guide and a supporter. I strive to make therapy accessible with clear, direct communication, warm energy, and pre-emptive radically inclusive stance. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from the Smith College School for Social Work. As a master-level social worker, I am currently pursuing my licensure in the state of Georgia under supervision at Heartwork. At Heartwork Counseling Center, we do not take insurance. We do offer a sliding scale. Our regular fee is $150.

I work with clients from diverse backgrounds to address sex therapy related issues (i.e. sexual "dysfunction," enhancement of pleasure, sexual identity development, etc.) and trauma related to interpersonal violence, attachment wounds, and systemic oppression. I work predominantly with sex workers, queer and trans clients, kink clients, polyamorous clients, and community organizers. Ultimately, I am passionate about helping all clients expand their view of what is possible for their lives and let go of shame.
