Welcome! I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in evidence-based treatments for Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). My approach to treatment is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with influences from mindfulness and family systems. I have been extensively trained in numerous evidence-based treatments including Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP).

Life is challenging, messy and painful. Life is exciting, joyful and healing. Life is life. No matter where you are in life’s journey, the journey of life is always changing. Whichever type of change you believe is best for you, I do believe is best accomplished with others, in collaboration, not in isolation. Dee is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia and also is a nationally Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She is a member of the LPCAGA(Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia) and GABA(Georgia Association of Behavior Analysis). Dee earned her Masters of Science in Applied Clinical Psychology from the University of South Carolina-Aiken. Dee has worked in the mental health field for over 18 years and has experience and training in crisis intervention, stress management, dual diagnoses, behavioral support, family conflict and other issues.

Crystal Favre, LPC has helped hundreds of children, adolescents, adults and families recover, grow and take control of their lives. Sometimes all people need is the first step of recovering and finding balance. Others have goals they're struggling to reach because of obstacles in their way. In each case, Crystal takes a compassionate, patient approach to help each individual/family work out the steps they need to progress toward their goals regardless of the situation.

Celeste has a holistic & systemic approach to therapy with the goal of helping clients achieve mental and physical wellness. She believes strongly in incorporating the client’s beliefs, value systems, and cultural identity into therapy. Celeste received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. Celeste has also pursued training through the Gottman Institute and Prepare/Enrich to facilitate her work with couples. Additionally, Celeste is trained in EMDR, a therapeutic technique designed to help people struggling to process trauma.

My goal as a therapist is to offer a safe environment for my clients to discover past trauma, as it related to present personal difficulties. Additionally, my clients are encouraged to discover healthier coping strategies to deal with present life stressors. It is important to me that my clients feel respected and understood in the process of self discovery and self development. My therapy treatment methods include: person-centered, systemic, behavioral, assigned readings, strategic, and brief. Ideally, for effective treatment, my clients are willing to attend therapy on a regular basis and are willing to be open and honest.

With 23 years experience working with children and families, previously as a school counselor, I now work as a Licensed Professional Counselor in a busy private practice in downtown Alpharetta. My therapeutic philosophy is based on the belief that a counselor's role is to empower clients with the tools to unlock their fullest potential. I work with a clients ages teen to adult. I strive to help heal the whole person and integrate different approaches to best fit each one of my clients. I incorporate Person-Centered, Psychodrama, emotion focused family therapy and cognitive behavioral therapies in my sessions. I have experience working with groups and individuals with substance abuse and mental health challenges. I view the therapeutic alliance between client and clinician as the most important aspect of therapy. I also specialize in working with Addiction and am the Clinical Director for Emerge Healing Center, a substance abuse and trauma focused intensive outpatient program. At the center of my specialities, I focus on working with couples and use a Gottman and EFT approach.
