DBT Skills Group
A Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills group is a structured therapeutic setting designed to help clients learn and practice skills to manage their emotions, improve relationships, and cope with challenging situations. In a DBT skills group, clients are taught a combination of cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and interpersonal skills to enhance their emotional regulation and overall well-being. The group typically covers four main skill modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Clients in the 2x weekly DBT group pay for the week at $100 per week.
