Hello! It has been a privilege to work in the counseling field for over 25 years. I bring experience, insight, compassion and support to the transitions, struggles and difficulties in life and in your journey towards healing. My focus is on the strengths and resiliency that exists in all people and by the exploration of a positive movement forward.

I help children, adolescents, and adults overcome challenges and traumatic events that shape their development, self esteem, and interpersonal relationships. I utilize a psychodynamic, client centered treatment approach to address each individual's educational, occupational and interpersonal goals. My specialties include child and adolescent development, couple's communication and parenting, separation and divorce, and the treatment of complex trauma.

When I provide couples counseling I begin with learning about you as a couple why you were attracted to each other. Then we work together to figure out what got lost that brought you to seek out counseling. I am a Level 2 PACT therapist, based on the teachings of Dr. Stan Tatkin.

I have spent the last 28 years working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples cultivating a treatment approach that aides in creating quick, long lasting, permanent change. This has led me down a path of studying the neurobiology of the brain and using treatment methods including Brainspotting, Mindfulness, Psycho-Neuro-Immunology and the Neuro-Psychology of the brain.
