About
I named my business Life Journey Counseling because I believe that we are all on a journey. We typically have ideas about where we are headed and how we will get there, but life often deals us something different...something we didn't plan for. How we handle that is the key to our own personal growth. I am inspired by the power of people to help themselves, but also a firm believer in the importance of having support and help when we need it. I help people through the therapeutic relationship we form to realize their full potential.
I specialize in working with adult individuals and couples, in addition to families. I work with people in life transitions, grief, anxiety, parenting, foster/adopt issues, trauma, job stress, relationship discord, infertility, post-partum issues and more.
I have a particular interest in specialized parenting/caregiving. Having a child with high medical needs or a disability is life altering, heartbreaking, inspiring, and challenging. Adjusting to a diagnosis takes time, love, and support. I can be one person to help support you through this part of your journey.
