I help children, adolescents, and adults overcome challenges and traumatic events that shape their development, self esteem, and interpersonal relationships. I utilize a psychodynamic, client centered treatment approach to address each individual's educational, occupational and interpersonal goals. My specialties include child and adolescent development, couple's communication and parenting, separation and divorce, and the treatment of complex trauma.
I have had great success with couples and families utilizing Imago Relationship Therapy to improve communication. I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to help clients address and reframe traumatic experiences to foster growth and strength, while reducing stress and anxiety. I provide Sand Tray/Play Therapy at my Colorado location.
I have extensive experience working with emergency service personnel (EMS, Police/Fire), Military Veterans and their Families, and the Intelligence Community. I have specialized expertise in preparing service members and their families for separated tours and reintegration into their families and communities after deployment and critical incidents.
