My passion is working with families and children to help them in creating the best relationship possible. Children often do not have the words to tell us when things are not going well for them, instead, they often show us their feelings through challenging behaviors. I love helping parents understand their child's behavior and helping children find ways to cope when things are tough. I know parenting is not always easy. In addition to raising my own children, I have worked with children in a variety of settings including daycare and school. I truly enjoy helping parents and children learn to communicate and connect.

I use a mindfulness based approach in my work with couples and individuals from all walks of life. The majority of my clientele are working on learning how to be more present in the here and now, seeking to improve their relationships, and find life satisfaction. I've help clients make career changes, work through high conflict, rebuilding trust, emotional connection, and intimacy. Clients who work best with me are open to change, willing to let go, and reconnect with their own internal relationships. I also work with ENM and LGBTQIA individuals and couples.

Michele holds credentials as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience. She graduated from University of Denver with a B.A. in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work. She has worked both in private practice and within the school system settings. She has been a school social worker for 28 years.

My goal in therapy is to create an environment that is safe for you to explore the weight of your world. I strive to be a companion during the perinatal period or in the aftermath of loss by identifying your strengths and finding tools and resources that will work for you. I am here to support you in building a life that honors that tender brokenness- your precious scars- and finding beauty and power in that fragility.

I offer therapy for Asian Americans and BIPOC in despair after trauma. You were raised by immigrant parents and experienced emotional neglect and abuse and now feel like you don't belong anywhere and are looking for a sense of "home." You feel isolated, hopeless, angry, and anxious. You desperately want out of this internal hellscape. You want to feel confident and grounded, not frozen and furious when you interact with others, especially your family. There is a way to detangle from the harm that has you stuck and move towards greater self-esteem and meaningful connections with others.
