Stress can impact people in many ways. I work with clients from pre-adolescence through adulthood to help them find healthy ways to cope with life's challenges. Clients often find me after struggling with anxiety and depression. They may have found themselves overusing devices or digital media as a way to escape the stress of life. I'm here to help them begin to face their challenges. Together, we can learn to process life's triggers and address unhealthy thoughts that may be contributing to avoidance, unhappiness, and worry.
I specialize in providing Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I often work with boys and men to help them to learn about their emotions, the thoughts leading to their emotions, and how to develop effective coping and communication skills.
Beginning therapy can be hard. I'm here to help you through it. Managing stress in life is not a natural skill for everyone. My goal is to help you feel safe and supported while practicing skills between sessions to help you succeed.
