We are all complex individuals shaped by our environments and a collection of pasts before us that we may not always understand. While I have worked with various focal populations on a wide variety of issues, the most common presenting needs are related to anxiety, depression, internal blocks, transitioning gender identities, coming out, recovering from various forms of trauma, and life transitions. I am passionate about providing trauma informed care in a world that is heavily dosed with unhelpful memes, misguided self help books, and armchair philosophy. I am here to help dare you to be yourself through radical self acceptance.
I have been serving the LGBTQIA+ community for over 10 years in various environments including the streets, incarceration, school environments, and private practice. My lens of practice is shaped by both personal and professional experience. Combining research, advocacy, formal training, and passion has shown many of my clients healing and empowerment.
Self-empowerment resides within each of us, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey. It takes bravery to reach out and ask for help when you need it.
