Family building can be an incredibly difficult time for those struggling with fertility. The emotional rollercoaster of months and years of trying, countless exams, medications and procedures can be daunting. Many individuals can even experience trauma from all the physically invasive procedures that occur with fertility treatment. Each month a pregnancy attempt fails you can experience grief, isolation, anger and fear that the dream of building a family won't be attainable. Those able to conceive also struggle with intense emotions during pregnancy and postpartum that can be overwhelming and hard for others to understand.
Often women experience a lot of shame and guilt during this process. It is normal to feel frustrated, angry, alone and isolated. My goal is to provide a safe place to process all those thoughts and emotions and help support you and your partner on this long journey. I have many years of personal and professional experience in fertility, pregnancy and loss.
I look forward to meeting you and discussing how we can work together to provide you the support needed during this time. Choosing a therapist is such an important decision and I'm honored to be considered. I currently only offer Telehealth sessions from the comfort of your home. Please call or email me to set up a free 15 minute phone consultation.
