I am a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and am culturally informed in this community. I work with teens and adults on an individual basis.
Therapy is a journey of self-exploration and discovery, examining roles and identities, habit based thinking, and negative self-talk. A therapist’s role is to provide a safe and caring environment to investigate some of the more difficult aspects of this process. Additionally, to provide tools to promote self-acceptance and kindness to one’s self.
