My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and completely nonjudgmental. I have 14 years of experience treating relationship problems, stress, anxiety, addictions, parenting issues, and depression. Clients who come to see me tell me they “feel seen." I consider it an honor to hear your stories and to help you find greater peace and joy in your life. I am passionate about therapy and devoted to each and every client I see.
I believe in the power of presence and connection, as well as authenticity and a good sense of humor. Education and training matter, too; I am proud to be a published author, to have taught at the University of San Diego for five years, and to have worked at the VA and Sharp Mesa Vista Hospital.
I believe therapy can change a person's life. I am happy to offer a sliding scale (reduced fees) for those who find it difficult to cover my rate. I understand that finding the right therapist can be challenging; if I am not the right fit, I will happily help you find someone amongst my wonderful colleagues!
